Western Digital today announced a new partnership with Epic Games and Nintendo to deliver the first officially licensed Fortnite SanDisk microSDXC card for Nintendo Switch. WD already has several partnerships with other game developers to produce similar products including the first batch of Nintendo-licenced memory cards for Nintendo Switch and an Apex Legends edition memory card for Nintendo Switch – all available at the WD store. The unique colour of these microSD cards should help gamers identify which is which if you have multiple of these. Other than the fancy look, these cards have the exact specifications as the SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDXC UHS-I cards offering sequential read of up to 100MB/s and sequential write of up to 90MB/s.
