Thecus announces support for the brand-new Seagate IronWolf 110 solid-state drives with up to 3.84 terabytes capacity. The support applies to all current Thecus NAS models. Specifically, for the SSD-based NAS models revealed at the recently concluded CES 2019 in Las Vegas bringing the benefits of fast solid-state drives to network storage. This offers higher performance and reliability with a lower power consumption compared to HDD-based NAS.

The new Seagate IronWolf 110 solid-state drives are specifically designed for network attached storage devices. It offers enterprise-class endurance and reliability with an MTBF of 2 million hours and has a 24/7 always-on work ethic. These NAS drives are targeted for small to medium-sized businesses, can easily be deployed thanks to the SATA 6 Gbit/s interface and offer sequential reading speed of up to 560 MByte/s. Seagate Durawrite technology helps accelerate reads and writes, extend the life of the flash memory and provide up to 7000 TBW (total bytes written) on the 3.84TB capacity drive. The IronWolf 110 SSDs come with a professional-grade 5-year limited warranty and 2-year data recovery support. The IronWolf 110 SSDs will be available this month with capacities of 240GB to 3.84TB.
