Both motherboards have identical specifications and PCB layouts with the exception of the addition of Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3 module on the SUPERO C9Z790-CGW motherboard.
The SUPERO C9Z790-CGW and C9Z790-CG motherboards feature an impressive set of features worthy of gaming and workstation PC builds. Both motherboards feature dual LAN ports, an Intel 1 GbE LAN port and a Marvell AQC113 10GbE LAN port, perfect for users that need high-speed networking capabilities.
Supermicro is known for its server motherboards for enterprise applications. Supermicro’s first SUPERO-brand gaming motherboards are Intel Z390 and Intel X299 motherboards back in 2018. Supermicro continued to release Intel-based gaming motherboards for every new platform Intel released with the exception of the Intel Z690. Nevertheless, Supermicro appears to be back in the gaming motherboard market with these two new motherboards.
