Introduction

Product on Review: ECS A885GM-A2
Manufacturer: ECS - Elitegroup Computer Systems
Street Price: 80-95 Euros

Up for review today is the A885GM-A2 motherboard from ECS. It's a very well specified board that utilises a combination of some of AMD's newer chipsets.

Whilst not a high end, enthusiast level, heavy clocking board the A885GM-A2 does offer some excellent features for the discerning power user. The board is fully Hex core compatible and offers SATA III 6Gb/s support. It also offers onboard graphics from the ATi HD4250 - this in particular is rather unusual for a full ATX board.
