ASUS introduces the ROG THOR 1600W Titanium Gaming (ROG-THOR-1600T-GAMING) power supply unit. ASUS deems the ROG THOR 1600W Titanium as the quietest 1600W power supply. It features Gallium nitride MOSFETs which boast lower switching losses and improved efficiency compared to conventional silicon transistors, GaN FETs allow the 1600W Thor to swing massive amounts of current without being needlessly wasteful. 1600W Titanium is the largest capacity 80PLUS Titanium model to be added to the ROG THOR Series launched just last year.

The ROG THOR 1600W Titanium Gaming will come with a PCIe 5.0 1x16-pin 600W connector to support the latest high-end graphics cards like the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. It also features an OLED display and ASUS Aura RGB lighting.

Digital Controller and Premium Components
The ROG THOR 1600W Titanium PSU uses a digital controller to provide precise control over the GaN power array, facilitating a lightning-fast response to load changes. The PSU’s low-ESR Japanese capacitors further improve efficiency and reduce heat.

ROG Heatsinks and Axial-tech Fan
The PSU uses ROG Heatsinks that are 200% larger than traditional designs, delivering 20% lower temperatures inside the PSU. The ROG THOR 1600W Titanium is fitted with a 135mm PWM-controlled Axial-tech fan shifts 21% more air and needs fewer revolutions to cool critical components.

The ASUS ROG THOR 1600W Titanium Gaming power supply is covered with a 10-year warranty (core component), the RGB and OLED components are covered with a 3-year warranty. ASUS did not reveal pricing as of this writing.
